Not only does she own the Maid’s Café, but it was later revealed that her family owns almost the entirety of Akihabara, a fact she often hides, fearing that people would treat her differently if they knew the truth. Faris’ story is such a heartbreaking one, that she even sent an email to try to change the fate of her deceased father.
3 Lucy Heartfilia left her rich past behind (Fairy Tail)
Lucy Heartfilia left home as a teenager, defying her father and leaving him and the family fortune behind, but it wasn’t immediately revealed how high the family stood in fairy tale story Japanese comics. The Heartfilia family was even considered the richest and most influential of Fiore at one point.
Her father, Jude, becomes distant and difficult after Lucy’s mother’s death, which leads to Lucy leaving the big house of Heartfilia.
