Plateau State ranks as the new epicentre of COVID-19

As the Coronavirus outbreak continues to spread in Nigeria, the country experiences a low figure of the virus on Wednesday as the most populous State with highest number of cases, Lagos State, records a low figure of Covid-19 cases.
It was reported that plateau state takes the lead now as the state ranks with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country and Wednesday.
Plateau records a total number of 60 infections out of the 221 formal cases announced by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday.
Lagos confirmed 17 new cases on Wednesday making it the lowest confirmed cases in the state over 4 months ago.
Earlier, Lagos State recorded 26 cases when it was announced by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday.
In addition, Nigeria ranked with 252 Covid-19 confirmed cases on Tuesday drops to 221 confirmed cases on Wednesday having it lower than before. Now the country now have a total of 53,021 confirmed cases, 40,281 recovered patients and 1,010 death recorded since the outbreak.
After the total confirmed cases for the day, the cases were recorded in 20 states and the figures are as follows;
