The unions warned upon the lapse of the warning strike, members would embark on an indefinite strike, should the federal government fails to accede to its demands.
The warning strike lapses on 19th October.
According to the striking staff, a full-blown strike will see workers entirely withdraw their services from critical departments like Jaja clinic, teaching and research farm, zoological garden among others.
The members who converged for a congress at UI, resolved to write the national body that if a full-blown strike is declared, it should not be called off until the Federal Government attends to all its demands.
